A friend of mine just offered us a free cabin for a week in June in Killington, VT. Anybody know anything about the area that isn't related to skiing?

It's beautiful! Great hiking, biking and pubs. Less crowded during the summer.

I'll ask Mander, her house was up that way.

Ooh, go to Long Trail Brewery - they have amazing beer and chili!

Other than that, my only visit was restricted to photography, boy craziness, and extreme drinking. It's really beautiful there, though.

Killington is truly beautiful in the summer. There is a TON to do including hiking and shopping and spa'ing and off-roading and painting classes and river and lake swimming and, gosh, i could keep on going...but it is an excellent place to be in the summer.
